I highly recommend Herman Mendoza of Blue Sky Construction. He is experienced and easy to work with. He communicates frequently and well. Herman expertly managed the construction of our ADU. He worked out the contract with us, offering alternatives, and solving problems. He scheduled his crew, subcontractors and inspectors so that our project was completed on time and as agreed upon. The Blue Sky crew--Herman, Tony, Paco, Manuel, Caleb, Antony, and Jimmy--are very nice guys and steady workers. They showed up every day smiling and worked hard, from the first day of demolition to the final inspection, never complaining through hot and cold weather alike. Herman is a hands-on contractor, much of the time working alongside the crew, assigning tasks and making sure the work is done well.

Herman and his crew did an outstanding job on a recent bathroom remodel. We completely gutted the bathroom in our 1950s home and put in a modern walk-in shower with a glass wall and floating vanity. A remodel in an older house is always tricky, and issues come up in the process, but Herman was great in communicating, offering solutions but also very mindful of what we wanted. Absolutely 1st class all the way. I can not say enough about Herman and his guys. Herman, Tony and Paco were some of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen. Always positive and willing to go the extra mile. I’ve been a business owner in the past and appreciate all of their hard work and attention to detail. Our project wasn’t an easy one. They were working with an older home and all the problems that can bring. Complete remodel on kitchen, bathrooms, laundry area. Everyday I’m thankful for the beautiful outcome. German and his team are as good as they come. I shopped around for a good contractor. I was glad I met German. He and his guys worked hard and efficiently to convert our garage into an ADU. We had a couple of hiccups along the way (as you do with any construction project) and German brought the experience and expertise to tackle the problems efficiently and did his best to work within our budget. Besides being really nice guys, Herman and his crew are excellent at what they do! A couple of months ago they remodeled my guest house top-to-bottom: plumbing, electric, floors, appliances, countertops, paint. They got the job done on time, on budget, and did beautiful work. So I have to say that Herman and his crew were awesome.  This was an exterior replacement of the exterior soffits on my parents' home, all the way around...looks beautiful.  an insurance job due to water damage, and Herman's guys really did a great job on a place with no square corners....

I'm going to be using Blue Sky on the interior, which also had tons of water damage...

Blue Sky Custom Construction is top notch! They are so professional and beautiful craftsmen. We did a giant kitchen/living room remodel and vaulted the ceilings (see before picture). We couldn't be happier with the process and the finished product. Also, Herman made us those beautiful maple wood floating shelfs for the bar as a present.

It was also incredible how clean they were during the entire process. I would come after they had been working all day and all you would see was their beautiful work, with no debris or trash (so impressive in construction).

All of the workers were so nice and so trustworthy. Herman hires great quality people.

Herman worked with us through the whole permitting process and did all inspections with inspectors. We always passed with no issues because their work was great.

I have recommended Blue Sky to many friends and neighbors. We are also in the process of planning to remodel our bathroom with them in the coming months. I am very impressed with Blue Sky Custom Construction.

If I could give zero stars I would. Very disappointed. I was referred by friend from Jehovas church who said they did excellent work. But they did not disclose I would be missing my collectible skateboard, and my work laptop. When I called to ask them about it. I was rudely hung up by Jorge or German. One of those two. We love our newly remodeled master bathroom! Blue Sky Custom Construction did an outstanding job in every way! Herman and his crew were very professional and punctual and did great quality work.  They handled every stage of the process and they finished in a timely manner.    If there was a decision to be made, Herman would talk with us to achieve the best answer, they worked with us from beginning to end. Our coastal bathroom is absolutely beautiful and they were such a joy to have in our home.
